🌿 Santuario Ecolodge – Reservation & Cancellation Policy
for direct bookings

Deposit Requirement

A 50% deposit of the total booking amount is required to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival at Santuario Ecolodge.
Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or cash (as available).

Cancellation Policy

Outside of High Season (May – October):

Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival will forfeit the deposit in full.
Early departures are non-refundable,

During High Season (November – April):

Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival will have the deposit retained as a credit valid for 12 months from the original reservation date.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This includes peak periods such as holidays and special events.

No-Show Policy

In the event of a no-show (guest does not arrive and does not contact the hotel), the deposit is forfeited in full, and the booking will be released.

Modification Policy

Reservation date changes are possible outside of High Season, depending on availability and management approval.
Any modification must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.

Special Considerations

In the case of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events), Santuario Ecolodge may offer a rebooking option or credit at the management’s discretion.

Children: Children 6 and under stay free when sharing a room with an adult. Children aged 7 to 12 pay $10 per child. Guests aged 13 and up are charged the adult rate.
Additional Guests: An additional charge of $10 to $25 per extra guest, per night, applies depending on the room and other factors.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available for all guests.
Pets: Small and medium-sized pets are allowed, except in restaurant areas.
Room prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Ecolodge Rules and Restrictions

Check-In and Check-Out Times:

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may be requested in advance but are subject to availability and additional fees.

Quiet Hours:

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a restful environment for all guests. However, music may be played in the restaurant bar area during events or classes. Guests will be informed in advance about scheduled activities.

Children:

Children 6 and under stay free when sharing a room with an adult. Children aged 7 to 12 pay $10 per child. Guests aged 13 and up are charged the adult rate. Adult supervision is required for children at all times on the property.

An additional charge of $10 to $25 per extra guest, per night, applies depending on the room and other factors.

🐾 Pets:

Small and medium-sized pets are welcome at El Santuario Ecolodge 🐾
For everyone’s comfort, pets must be supervised at all times and kept on a leash in public areas. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, bar, or other designated spaces.
We kindly ask guests to clean up after their pets during their stay.
Pet fee: USD 10 per pet, per night
Refundable deposit: USD 50 per stay
The deposit will be returned at check-out once the room has been inspected and is in good condition.
A USD 20 cleaning fee may apply if additional standard cleaning is required (e.g., excessive shedding, dirt, or general mess).
Additional charges may apply for deep cleaning or special laundry, including but not limited to:

- Accidents on beds, sheets, or furniture
- Stains or odors requiring special treatment

These costs will be deducted from the deposit depending on the level of cleaning required.

Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
If you prefer your pet to sleep on the bed, they must use their own blanket or cover brought from home.
Pets must not relieve themselves inside the room. If an accident occurs, please notify staff immediately.
Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets, including furniture, bedding, décor, or property. Costs will be deducted from the deposit, and if damages exceed the deposit, additional charges may apply.
General Guidelines

- Pets must not cause disturbances to other guests

- Excessive barking or noise is not permitted

- Pets may not be left unattended if they could disturb others

Service animals are exempt from these fees.

Parking:

Complimentary parking is available for all registered guests. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas.

Smoking:

Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or enclosed common areas.

Environmental Respect:

Please respect the natural environment and avoid disturbing wildlife. Properly dispose of all waste in designated bins and conserve water and electricity where possible.

Restaurant Bar Events and Classes:

The restaurant bar may host events, music, and classes, which may impact noise levels in certain areas. We aim to keep these activities enjoyable for all guests, and schedules will be provided in advance whenever possible.

Damage and Liability:

Guests are responsible for any damages to Ecolodge property or rooms during their stay. Additional charges may apply if damage occurs.

Guest Conduct:

All guests are expected to act respectfully toward other guests and staff. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or loud music outside designated areas is not permitted.
